Agents

It is agent-agnostic. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor's agent, Copilot CLI, and other CLI agents. They use your own subscriptions and API keys. Paradev is not a model provider, does not bill model usage, and does not proxy those API calls.

Review

From the same window you can read a workspace diff, send follow-ups, open a pull request, and check CI. Each pull request lists its CI checks, and line comments can be sent back to the agent.

Where it runs

The desktop app runs on macOS, with an experimental Linux AppImage. Windows is not available. The iPhone and iPad app requires Paradev Pro and iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. The superset command keeps working, and paradev is an alias for the same CLI. The GitHub repository is github.com/paradevai/paradev.

Name and license

On Oct 26, 2026, Superset renamed itself Paradev and announced an $11.5M seed round led by Union Square Ventures. The Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2) lets you use, copy, modify, and self-host the code. It does not allow offering the software to third parties as a hosted or managed service that provides a substantial set of its features. Paradev describes this as source-available, not an OSI-approved open source license. The copyright line in LICENSE.md still names Superset Inc.
